Theater Rental
- Rental Includes:
- • Use of lobby, auditorium, green room, and dressing rooms.
- • Stage lighting.
- • One theatre staff person.
- • Public address system with one hand/floor microphone, one wireless mic and one floor mic.
Occupancy of auditorium includes 667 seats plus 6 wheelchair spaces and 30 standing room.
Guidlines
Liberty Theater and the McTavish Room are separate rentals, fee adjustments can be made for combination rentals.
All areas of the building are NON-Smoking areas.
Renters are to provide their own crew for load-in, load-out, cleanup, etc.
Technical systems (lights, sound, rigging) may only be operated by theatre staff or trained personnel approved by theatre management. Operation of multiple systems requires additional theatre technicians and/or trained and approved personnel. Hourly rates apply for training.
Except by special arrangement, the Liberty Theater provides all intermission refreshments and retains all revenue from refreshment sales.
Staffing for souvenir sales is not included in rentals. Renters should arrange their own staffing and finances, the theater will receive 15% of the gross as commission.
Cleaning service is provided on or before each performance day. Renter's are responsible for maintaining the condition of all facilities on rehearsal/setup days.
No occupancy is permitted between midnight and 8am.
Construction areas and all unfinished spaces may not be entered and are not available for use by renters.
All tickets for ticketed events will be sold through the Liberty Theater Box Office and through our agreement with TicketsWest.
Timeline and Cancellation Policy
Rental agreements must be signed and Full Payment of all anticipated costs must be made no later than 60 Days Prior to rental date or before tickets are scheduled to go on sale (whichever is earlier).
Cancellations 60 days or more before the rental date are subject to a 20% administrative fee. Cancellations less than 60 days prior to rental date are wholly non-refundable. Renter cancellations must be in writing.
Contract Information
- At the time of booking, you will need to provide the following information:
- • What time the theatre will be opened.
- • What time any rehearsal will begin and end.
- • What time the event or performance will begin.
- • Approximately how many persons are expected to be in the building during your period of use (how many involved in rehearsal and/or presentation/production and estimated audience size).
Your requirements for dressing room space, technical needs (lights, sound, projection screen, piano, etc.), and other facilities or equipment.
Your needs for staff to be provided by the Liberty for stage crew, lights, sound, etc.
Your plans for any refreshments to be served (some items are inappropriate for the theatre; alcoholic beverages must be pre-approved as well as meeting state liquor control regulations).
Who will be responsible for cleaning up immediately after your usage (name and phone).
What time you expect to vacate the building so it can be locked (you will continue to incur hourly charges until the building is actually closed and locked).
Reservation and use of space is not confirmed until receipt of payment and acceptance of agreement by Liberty Restoration, Inc. Signed agreement and advance payment must be received by LRI no later than 30 days prior to rental date. Once confirmed, rental fees are non-refundable.
